Today’s mini-sode we’re talking about how to take care of yourself. I’ve really struggled with this, especially after becoming an entrepreneur. After the news came out about Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain’s suicides, I was in complete shock. The news really hit me hard in an unexpected way.
Mental health is something I care deeply about and I think should be spoken about more openly. Hence why I’m sharing my own experiences, thoughts, and advice on this mini-sode on how to take care of yourself.
This is something that I’m constantly balancing, so I’m no expert but if I can help one person out there I’ll consider this a job well done.
If you feel you are in crisis, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. It is a free, 24-hour hotline, at 1.800.273.TALK (8255). Your call will be connected to the crisis center nearest to you.
